Star Wars Outlaws system requirements

What are the Star Wars Outlaws system requirements? We’ll soon be setting off across the galaxy to make our name as Kay Vess, a scoundrel just trying to make the best of the situation in which they find themselves. Despite the scope of this open-world adventure, the Star Wars Outlaws system requirements aren’t as unforgiving as you might expect.

The Star Wars Outlaws release date is already set, and now the requirements have just been announced, giving us some firm knowledge of whether your system will be up for running the game well or not. Thankfully, while it’s always beneficial to have the best graphics card you can afford, you don’t need super high-end hardware to make the most of the first ever open-world Star Wars game.

Here are the Star Wars Outlaws system requirements:

Take our Star Wars Outlaws system requirements PC benchmark test to answer the question… Can I run Star Wars Outlaws?

The Star Wars Outlaws system requirements are quite forgiving on GPU hardware, with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT being the entry-level graphics cards. Both of these are quite old and were relatively cheap cards at launch so your graphics cost of entry for this game is low.

The game’s CPU expectations are a little higher than we had originally predicted, with the 8700K and Ryzen 5 3600 both being six-core chips, rather than quad-core models. Still, they’re again old and cheaply-available parts, so it should be easy to achieve 30fps on the lowest graphics presets of this game.

The Star Wars Outlaws recommended specs are quite a bit higher when it comes to your graphics card, but most other factors don’t change too much. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT are relatively powerful cards that still demand around $300.

However, CPU requirements don’t rise by much. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is a faster chip than the 3600, but it has the same number of cores and it’s the same for Intel’s 10400 CPU. This setup should net 1080p @ 60fps with high graphics presets and the upscaler set to Quality.

When it comes to the Star Wars Outlaws high specs, these take a significant step up, with the game requiring an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT or better. The CPU expectations jump up to eight-core models too, with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Intel Core i5-11600K being the minimum recommended options to achieve a 1440p resolution at 60fps, with high graphics presets and the upscaler set to Quality.

For the ultimate settings for this game, the Star Wars Outlaws ultra specs require the use of either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, both of which are graphics cards that cost in the region of $1,000.

These should be partnered with either an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D or Intel Core i7-12700K. Beyond this, though, there’s no requirement for more RAM, with all settings requiring 16GB. These CPU and GPU combinations should net you 60fps at 4K resolution (2160p) with the graphics presets set to ultra and the upscaler set to Quality.

The Star Wars Outlaws download size is 65GB, which is relatively modest for a modern, AAA, open-world game. Ubisoft also recommends using an SSD, so it’s worth grabbing one of the best SSDs for gaming to ensure a faster download time and shorter loading times in the game. Or just check the latest, best deals on SSDs.
