This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma and Kirk talk about the latest rumors swirling around the Switch 2, particularly concerning whether or not there will be a Nintendo Direct this week.
Last week, we went through some recent trailers, from Echoes of Wisdom to A Minecraft Movie. This week, we revisit the Minecraft trailer since someone clever on the Internet has recreated the original trailer using Minecraft-looking animated characters. And it totally works.
We also look at a few upcoming games, including the storybook stylings of The Plucky Squire, which is out this week on September 17, along with a slight change in date for Star Wars Hunters season 3, now heading our way on September 24. Plus there’s a physical release of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley coming in November, and Kirk was invited to a preview screening of the demo for a brand-new JRPG called REYNATIS.
We’re also playing quite a few games this week that we’re excited to discuss. Jemma is playing a brutal platformer called Volgarr the Viking II. Kirk is enjoying his time with the new Ace Attorney Investigations. Plus we talk the crazy Cash Cow DX and Stumble Guys.
