Despite the recent (and awesome) Vessel of Hatred expansion, Diablo 4 lost to Helldivers 2 at The Game Awards for the “Best Ongoing Game” award. Unfortunately, Geoff Keighley doesn’t give out trophies for second place, but even without a win, Diablo 4 is heavily discounted at GameStop. Physical copies of the base game for PlayStation and Xbox are just $9.99 (was $69.99). This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet for Blizzard’s ARPG, even beating Battle.Net’s Black Friday sale.
Diablo 4 certainly isn’t without its problems, but the engaging loot grind and seasonal rewards frequently find me returning to the world of Sanctuary, especially considering its compatibility with handheld PCs like the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally.
Before you decide to pick up a copy, it’s worth keeping in mind that Diablo 4 is available to play with an Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and a three-month sub for the service is still just $28.99 at Woot (was $49.99) when you use the code GAMEPASS at checkout. While more expensive than GameStop’s Diablo 4 deal, you’ll also get the chance to play a variety of other AAA titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
