You can save up to 93% right now on Steam Deck Verified and Playable games at Fanatical, all thanks to the special section dedicated to Valve’s handheld. Huge games such as Spider-Man 2, Doom Eternal, and Resident Evil 4 are all currently on sale, meaning there’s never been a better time to expand your Steam Deck library.
Valve’s Steam Deck is still the best handheld gaming PC for most gamers, despite its aging hardware. As such, it’s great to see Fanatical making it easy for Deck owners to find great games for the handheld, while also offering big savings against the full prices of the games.
Here are my five picks for the best games currently on sale in Fanatical’s Steam Deck Verified category.
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
If you’re a fan of the Yakuza series, or its Like A Dragon spin-off, then it’s worth highlighting that all the games run great on the Steam Deck. This adventure RPG with turn-based combat is the sequel to Yakuza: Like A Dragon and sees Ichiban and the gang head to Hawaii in search of his mother.
You can expect an odd mix of outlandish comedy and emotional storytelling, and the story and characters will stick with you long after you finish the game. If you’re yet to catch up on Ichiban Kasuga’s latest adventure, you can do so now for less than half the MSRP.

Dave the Diver
A surprise hit from 2023, this management sim and adventure RPG mashup shouldn’t work as well as it does. It’s the kind of game that catches you by surprise, and before you know it, you’ve sunk 20+ hours into it.
I won’t say too much, as the ridiculousness of discovering each twist is half the fun, but if you like the idea of managing your own sushi restaurant, but having to catch the food in order to serve your customers, give Dave the Diver a go.
Price: $9.99 (50% off)
Vampyr
A hill I am willing to die on is that Don’t Nod’s Vampyr is one of the best RPGs from the 2010s. It may not have a big budget feel or incredible graphical fidelity, but from a pure storytelling perspective, the freedom you’re given to create your unique Vampiric adventure more than makes up for its shortcomings. It also fills a Vampire The Masquerade-shaped hole in my heart.
The vibe of roaming 1900s England at the time of the plague is also gloomy and depressing, but also immaculate, and it’s a time period not often replicated in games. For less than $10, Vampyr is worth your time. Who knows? You may come to love it as much as me.
Price: $7.39 (82% off)
Resident Evil 4
A more mainstream selection, the Resident Evil 4 Remake took its source material and completely overhauled it, applying the modern Resident Evil approach already seen in the Resi 2 and 3 remakes.
I can’t stand the original Resident Evil 4, it never grabbed me and even upon revisiting it recently, I still don’t enjoy playing it, in large part due to the dated control scheme. The remake, however, became one of my favorite games of 2023. There’s something about the modernization of old Resident Evil games that feels fresh, and even if you did enjoy the original, there’s so much more added to this remake that it’s well worth exploring.
Price: $17.19 (57% off)
Tomb Raider Definitive Survivor Trilogy
A trilogy of games that every gamer should play, the Tomb Raider reboot series is in a rarified space, where every game is not only great but manages to gradually improve in quality.
Follow Lara Croft on her journey from intrepid explorer to hardened survivor, with each game offering gradually more freedom in your exploration, without ever tipping over into the open-world category. This is arguably the best-value deal of the games selected, as you get three incredible games for less than $13.
