If you’ve been waiting to purchase one of Intel’s most recent gaming CPUs amid concerns over instability issues, then the time has finally come to part with your cash. Newegg currently has a massive Intel CPU deal on its 14th-gen chips, where you can save over $130 on a brand-new processor.
This sale comes off the back of confirmation from Intel that the instability issue is now resolved, with the latest update, microcode 0x12B, being the final Intel stability update rolled out by motherboard manufacturers. If you already purchased one of the impacted chips, say, the Intel Core i9 14900K, and the instability issue has already caused damage, your only option is to contact Intel customer support.
Here are the Intel gaming CPU deals that Newegg is currently running:
Each of the above deals is also subject to additional savings using a separate code. Here are the discount codes and the amount that can be saved with them:
- FTT24DX723 – Save $24 on 14900K
- FTT24DX724 – Save $25 on 14900KF
- FTT24DX725 – Save $19 on 14700K
- FTT24DX726 – Save $20 on 14700KF
- FTT3266 – Save $25 on 14600K
- FTT2DX728 – Save $40 on 14600KF
As you might expect, the deepest discount value is on the Intel Core i5 14600KF, which is basically the Core i5 14600K but without an integrated GPU. For this CPU, with the $50 discount and $40 additional code savings, the CPU is around 30% cheaper than MSRP. As a result of this huge saving, the 14600KF is currently on backorder.
All other CPUs in the deal, at the time of writing, are still available, and even with the Intel Arrow Lake release date on the horizon, these still make for great-value gaming processors at these prices.
Elsewhere in the battle to become the best gaming CPU, the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D release date could be coming soon too, if leaks are to be believed.
