Where to find dragonbone relics in Monster Hunter Wilds
Dragonbone relics come from the bonepiles that you can find everywhere. You’ll find them in Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, Oilwell Basin, Iceshard Cliffs, and the Ruins of Wyveria — every region in the game.
Bonepiles appear on your map with a yellow icon. Open your map and hit right on the D-pad twice. Scroll down through the filter to look for bonepiles, use left and right on the D-pad to scroll through the options, and set one as the waypoint for your seikret.
You can collect an item three times from each bonepile before it’s exhausted. Bonepiles refresh every 15 minutes or so.
How to collect extra bonepile resources
In Monster Hunter Wilds armors, talismans, and decorations all give you skills. The Geologist skill gets you one extra item from bonepiles per time you interact with them.
Equipment like the Geology Charm talisman, Chainmail armor, and Geology Jewel decorations all give you the Geologist skill. For bonepiles, you only get a benefit from the first level of the skill, so you don’t need to max it out.
The Geologist skill also doesn’t add to the number of times you can collect something from a bonepile — you still only collect three items per visit. It does, however, increase the number of items you pull out with each time you hit Circle/B.
